CLEAR EXPECTATIONS
Good work starts
with good information.
These notes explain the basic terms for using BRIEFLY, how information is handled, and what to keep in mind when working with AI-generated creative briefs.

01 — TERMS OF USE
Use BRIEFLY thoughtfully.
BRIEFLY is a creative brief generator developed under Rister Creative. It is designed to help people find direction, explore ideas and begin creative projects.
Using the service
You may use BRIEFLY for lawful personal, educational and professional creative work. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access restricted systems, or use it in a way that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.
Availability and changes
BRIEFLY is provided on an evolving basis. Features may change, be interrupted or become unavailable as the product is developed. We aim to keep the service useful, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every generated brief will be suitable for every project.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing, adapting and checking any brief before relying on it. BRIEFLY does not replace professional, legal, commercial or specialist advice.
02 — PRIVACY
Your information matters.
We aim to collect and use only the information needed to operate and improve BRIEFLY. The current version does not ask you to create an account to generate a brief.
Information you submit
When you generate a brief, the choices and project details you enter may be sent to our server-side generation function and to the AI service provider so it can produce a response. Do not enter passwords, confidential client information, sensitive personal data or material you are not authorised to share.
Saved briefs and device storage
If you use save or archive features, information may be stored in your browser on the device you are using. Browser storage can be cleared by your browser settings, and locally saved items may not be available on another device. Do not treat this as a secure backup.
Service providers and security
BRIEFLY relies on hosting and AI infrastructure providers to operate. Information sent to those providers is handled under their respective terms and privacy practices. We use server-side configuration for service credentials and do not intend to expose secret API keys in the website interface.
Retention and updates
Retention may depend on the browser, hosting and AI providers involved. This page will be updated as BRIEFLY adds features or changes how information is handled. If you have a privacy question, contact us using the details below.
03 — AI USAGE
AI gives a starting point, not the final word.
BRIEFLY may use artificial intelligence to generate creative briefs, suggestions and project direction. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, biased or unsuitable for your particular context.
Review every result. Check factual claims, names, references, cultural context, accessibility, feasibility and any industry-specific requirements before using a brief. A generated brief is not a guarantee of originality, commercial success, legal clearance or professional quality.
Use the output as a prompt for your own judgement and creative decisions—not as a substitute for them.
04 — CREATIVE RIGHTS
Make the work your own.
You remain responsible for the work you create from a BRIEFLY brief. You should independently check that your final work does not infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity or other rights.
AI-generated text and concepts may not be unique and similar results may be produced for other users. The legal status and ownership of AI-generated material can vary by jurisdiction and circumstance. BRIEFLY does not promise exclusivity, copyright protection or trademark availability for generated content.
Do not upload or submit third-party material unless you have the rights and permissions needed to use it.
